Powdery mildew?Get it under control.
Lost Coast Plant Therapy controls powdery mildew on contact, right on the plant surface where it grows.
Approved and certified for organic growing
Is this whatyou're seeing?
Catching powdery mildew early makes it much easier to control.
White powdery patches
Small white or gray spots that spread into a flour-like coating.
Curling or distorted leaves
Infected leaves can twist, pucker or curl as the mildew advances.
Growth on stems or buds
The white growth moves past the leaves onto stems, buds and flowers.
Yellowing and early leaf drop
Heavy coverage blocks light, so leaves yellow, dry out and fall early.
If you're seeing any of these, it's very likely you have powdery mildew.

A few plants had white spots and we treated them 3 days in a row. Make sure to spray both sides of leaves. It has worked great for me.

It starts small. It doesn't stay small.
One white patch can become a much bigger problem as spores drift through your garden and the pressure builds.
-
One leaf
A faint white patch is easy to brush off or ignore.
-
Multiple leaves
More leaves start showing the same powdery growth.
-
Canopy pressure
Overlapping leaves and dense growth make it harder to reach every spot.
-
Plant stress
Heavy mildew weakens leaves and can cut into flowers and harvest.

Protect my harvestWhat mildew costs you
- A summer of squash, cucumbers and melons cut short
- Leaves that yellow and drop, leaving fruit to sunburn
- Fruit that ripens small, with little flavor
- Months of watering, weeding and care undone in a few weeks
- Roses and flowers that never look the way they should
- Plants pulled early, and the same fight again next year

My plants were looking pretty sad before I sprayed them with Lost Coast Plant Therapy. Now they're looking happy again! Bright green leaves and healthy. Worth the investment for my plants.

Questionsbefore you buy.
Yes. Lost Coast Plant Therapy works on contact on mildew that is already growing on the leaf, which is what most home remedies cannot do well. In greenhouse trials run with Cornell University's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences on plants that were already heavily infected, it showed 96% +/- efficacy against powdery mildew. The key is coverage. Saturate the tops and undersides of every leaf, and keep spraying as the label directs.
Where the spray reaches, the white coating usually starts to look patchy and broken up within 48 to 72 hours. For mildew and mold, results are typically visible after repeat applications over 3 to 5 days. If a patch looks unchanged after two or three sprays, it is almost always a coverage gap, so lift the leaves and spray that spot directly next time.
Yes. Lost Coast Plant Therapy may be used up to the day of harvest when used as directed. It is made with natural and organic ingredients, it is approved for use by California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF), and it is approved for Demeter Biodynamic certified farms. As with anything you spray, read and follow the label.
When used as directed, it does not harm bees, ladybugs or praying mantises. It works only on contact with soft bodied insects and on the mildew itself, so hard bodied beneficial insects are not affected. It is biodegradable and breaks down naturally, which is why so many pollinator gardens use it.
Not when you follow the label. Outdoors, spray in the early morning or early evening when it is 80 degrees Fahrenheit or cooler. Indoors or in a greenhouse, spray under low light and let plants dry before strong light returns. Always test on a single plant first, and do not mix it stronger than the label says, since more concentrate does not mean better results.
For powdery mildew, spray daily for 1 to 3 days, then as needed. Each time, saturate the whole plant until the leaves glisten, especially the undersides, the stems and anywhere leaves overlap. Do not stop just because the leaves look cleaner after the first spray. Keep an eye on new growth and spray again during warm, humid stretches.
Every size is the same concentrate, and 1 oz makes 1 gallon of spray. The 12 oz makes 12 gallons and suits most backyard gardens. The 32 oz makes 32 gallons for big gardens and greenhouses at a lower cost per gallon, and it is our most popular size. The 1 gallon makes 128 gallons for market gardens and growers who spray with backpack or tank sprayers.
Fresh peppermint. The formula is made with soy oil, peppermint essential oil and citric acid, so it smells nothing like sulfur or harsh chemical sprays.
Yes. It is a 3 in 1 insecticide, fungicide and miticide. Along with powdery mildew, mold and botrytis, it controls soft bodied insects, their larvae and eggs on contact, including aphids, thrips, spider mites, russet mites, whiteflies and mealybugs. Because it works physically rather than as a poison, pests do not build resistance to it.
Your plants can looklike this again.

Lost Coast Plant Therapy is a minimum risk pesticide exempt from EPA registration under FIFRA 25(b). Use only as directed on the label and test on a single plant first. Cornell CALS results reflect controlled greenhouse trials. Individual results vary with coverage and conditions.
